Grades in ASTM A234


The ASTM A234 specification has many grades, such as WPB, WPC, WP5, WP9 WP11, WP12, WP22, WP91, etc.

Among these standards, WPB grade is the most common material used for medium and high temperature pipes. W stands for weldable, P stands for pressure, and B stands for b-grade, which refers to the minimum yield strength.
