ASTM A403 WP310S-S Stainless Steel 90 Degree Long Radius Elbow
ASTM A403 WP310/310S is an austenitic heat resistant alloy with high oxidation resistance under mild cyclic conditions to 2000ºF.
This steel has high nickel and chromium contents, providing comparable corrosion resistance, high oxidation resistance, and greater room temperature strength retention than common austenitic alloys such as Type 304.
Heat Resistance of Grade 310S Stainless Steel
Grades 310S has good resistance to oxidation in intermittent service in air up to 1035°Cand 1050°Cin continuous service. The grades are resistant to oxidation, sulphidation and carburisation.
The 90 degree long radius (LR) elbow is one of the most widely used butt weld fittings for connecting two pipes to change the direction of flow within a pipe. Sometimes, a butt welded 90 degree LR pipe elbow will change the flow angle to ninety degrees (90°).
The 90 degree elbow long tangent can be a long radius (LR) with a path curvature equivalent to 1-1/2 times the nominal pipe size (NPS) and have straight extensions (long tangents) at both ends for sizes 2 inches and larger.
The ASME B16.9 90° long radius elbow is a fitting installed between two lengths of pipe or tubing to allow a change in direction, usually a 90° angle, although 90° elbows are manufactured. The long radius 90 degree elbow changes direction by 90 degrees.
